ABOUT OUR CLASSES

Our classes are in a vinyasa style so you "flow" from one pose to the other using your breathing together with the movement. You will learn how to do the Sun Salutation, Great Salutation, Earth Salutation and all the different forms of Moon Salutation, among others.

DESCRIPTION OF CLASSES:
POWER VINYASA YOGA CLASS: This style of yoga which involves synchronizing the breath with progressive series of postures—a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind. VERY GOOD FOR THOSE WHO ARE ATHLETIC.

YOGILATES (a fusion of Yoga and Pilates): Joseph Pilates, a German fellow, developed this discipline in the 1930's and it specifically works your body to reshape it and tone it so that you look longer and leaner. It works your whole body and its techniques are amazing to tone and tighten your mid-section (for fabulous abs!). Yogilates combines the most effective areas of Pilates and Yoga so you may take advantage of the best workout for your body, mind & spirit.

PILATES BALL

Using the ball (the large Swiss ball) makes classic exercises more effective -mainly for your abs -with less effort. By working out on the ball, one engages his/her trunk stabilizers in addition to the area one is specifically targeting.

YOGA FOR STRESS & ANXIETY/POST TRAUMATIC STRESS SYNDROME: This program will end with your "fears" and your "what ifs..." and will give you mental peace! We have incorporated in the program specific yoga postures, breathing and relaxation techniques as well as meditation techniques. We have lots of experience helping those suffering from anxiety/post traumatic stress syndrome. Now only offered as a private class.

WORKSHOPS & GIFT CERTIFICATES!!!

We offer "YogaFacials" (we learn yoga postures which rejuvenate and help avoid wrinkles). We also learn about the muscles in our face and how to exercise them); “How to Meditate”; “Yoga at the Workplace”; “Your chakras or energy centers”; “Learn how to sequence poses”; “The impact of yoga on stress and Anxiety”, “The effect of yoga on different ailments”, etc.
